The uniforms were revealed in a video posted by UC Football on social media, set to music and a dark backdrop behind senior linebacker Deshawn Pace.

The new uniforms released Tuesday evening feature black jerseys and pants with "CINCINNATI" across the chest and a Bearcat paw above the second C.

Additionally, the jerseys will now feature the Big 12 logo, replacing the logo for the American Athletic Conference that UC wore previously.

Last month, the Bearcats were picked to finish second-worst in the Big 12 as the conference unveiled its 2023 preseason media poll.

Cincinnati barely broke 200 voting points (202) and finished only ahead of West Virginia, who went 5-7 overall last season and 3-6 in Big 12 play.

This year marks the worst conference preseason poll for the Bearcats since the 2018 campaign, when UC was picked to finish in fourth place in the American Athletic Conference's Eastern Division, ahead of only UConn and ECU.

In each AAC poll since 2019, the Bearcats were picked to either win the league or come in second place.

Not only is the coming season the first in the Big 12 for the Bearcats, but it is also the first with former Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield at the helm, who was hired in December following the departure of Luke Fickell to Wisconsin.

The Bearcats went 9-4 last year, losing to Louisville in the Fenway Bowl.

UC's 2023 season begins on Sept. 2 against Eastern Kentucky.
